The RMonitor feed that we get from the track periodically sends out data as it's available.

Unfortunately, some data such as racer information (e.g., names, numbers, etc.) is only sent periodically. Other information such as last lap/best lap are sent as the event occurs, such as when a racer crosses the timing loop. Data is updated on the device as soon as it's received from the RMonitor feed, or from our servers.

We've engineered functionality into our system to help to mitigate the occurrences of missing information (Store & Forward, data quality checking, notifications), but sometimes the data is simply missed (such as when the race connects our Relaying software to their RMonitor feed after the data has already been sent).
